In 2009, I was promoted to lead the infrastructure department (450 staff) for the Government of Jersey and Rachel became my HR Business Partner.
Rachel was a key part of the my departments senior management team. From the start, Rachel became a trusted member of the team and always gave wise council and advice. We worked together for over 7 years.
In this time the department went through a significant transformation to improve services and cut costs. This included a key project of outsourcing 200 jobs and this was led by Rachel.
